STUDIO SERVICES
Thank you for considering Glam by Zoe for your makeup services. I am honoured to be a part of your event and committed to helping you feel your most confident and beautiful.
Please read the terms and conditions below carefully. It outlines important information about booking, payment, communication, and responsibilities.

The following contract applies for all studio services provided by Zoe Cairns at Glam by Zoe. By booking an appointment, you agree to all the terms listed below.

BOOKING POLICY
To secure your booking date for makeup services, a signature agreeing to the terms and a deposit of $35 per person is required. The deposit confirms your appointment and is applied to your final invoice.

PAYMENT TERMS

Payment can be made via cash or online payment. EFTPOS is not available.

All payments must be completed on the date of service, unless otherwise agreed in writing with Zoe.

The person who booked is responsible for all payments regarding services in this agreement.

Additional charges may apply for touch up kits or early commencement, and will be communicated beforehand.

If payment is not received by the agreed due date, Glam by Zoe reserves the right to refuse all future service without limiting any legal rights.

CHANGES & CANCELLATION

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours (two days) prior to your reserved date, or your deposit will be forfeited.

Cancellations must be made in writing via email or online via the Glam by Zoe website.

Cancellations made within 48 hours may require a new deposit to reschedule.

Glam by Zoe reserves the right to terminate the contract for any non-compliance of terms. The contract will become void, deposits are non-refundable in such cases.

Cancellations by Zoe due to circumstances including, but not limited to, problems rendering the performance of her obligations and where no other suitable alternative can be given will result in a full refund provided to the client. No further compensation will be offered. An alternative makeup artist may be recommended.

If you wish to change your booking date due to certain circumstances within 48 hours of your reserved date, Zoe will do everything possible to accommodate the new service date. If the new service date is unavailable, the deposit is liable to be lost.

If there are changes to client numbers, timing, and/or date after the contract has been signed these must be discussed directly with Zoe. Glam by Zoe is not obligated to reduce the final price for fewer applications. If there is an increase in the number of applications, Zoe is not obligated to accommodate to these changes. However, if an increase is possible, a revised contract and new pricing will apply.

Any changes must be communicated at least 48 hours before the event. Glam by Zoe is not obliged to accommodate any last minute change requests.

EXCLUSIVITY

This contract is strictly between the person who booked and Glam by Zoe. No other person, including friends, family or other associates, may make decisions, cancel, or communicate on the primary contacts behalf.

Exclusivity is for the contracted services online. Glam by Zoe may take on another booking on the same day, provided it does not impact this event.

COMMUNICATION​

Email is the preferred method of communication to ensure important details are documented and organised.

HEALTH & SAFETY
-
All tool, brushes and other items are properly sanitised before and after use.

Allergies & Sensitivities: It is your responsibility to inform Zoe of any allergies or sensitivities prior to your appointment. Glam by Zoe is not liable for any reactions that may arise from the service if proper disclosure was not provided.

To protect your health, as well as the safety of Zoe and other clients, certain conditions may prevent or limit the makeup service. These include eye infections (like conjunctivitis), cold sores, open wounds, fungal infections (e.g. ringworm), warts, cystic acne, severe sunburn, skin burns (including from waxing), eczema, psoriasis, head lice, scabies, impetigo, past allergic reactions, bruises, cuts, flu-like symptoms, or a fever.

Glam by Zoe is not liable for any adverse reactions to products used and cannot be held liable for any losses that are incurred due to adverse reactions to products used.

Patch tests can be arranged if needed and may incur a small fee.

ARRIVAL & TIMING

Please be arrive at the scheduled time. Your readiness allows us to begin promptly and ensures you receive the full service.

Bookings that begin before 7:00AM will incur a $30 early start fee per person.

If have not arrived within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time, the service may need to be adjusted or cancelled without refund.
PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA​

With your consent, Glam by Zoe may use photos, videos, and other media from the event (including those captured by your photographer/videographer) for marketing purposes, including on her website, social media, and promotional materials. The client also agrees to not make claims regarding this use and will provide the details of the media professionals if requested.
ARTIST OBLIGATIONS

Glam by Zoe will perform all services with the professionalism, care and hygiene.

Products used are of high quality and chosen for performance and safety

While all efforts are made to ensure makeup longevity, Glam by Zoe cannot guarantee results due to individual skin type, personal skin preparation, aftercare, diet weather, and external conditions

In the unlikely event that Zoe should need to cancel your booking, you will be notified at the earliest opportunity and without liability. Every effort will be taken to find a replacement artist.

CLIENT OBLIGATIONS

Makeup will be completed to the client’s satisfaction; acceptance of the completed makeup application confirms client’s satisfaction. This includes trials.

The Client agrees not to make negative or defamatory statements about the Glam by Zoe, the services, team, or business at any time during or after the appointment.

You agree not to speak or write negatively about Glam by Zoe, online or offline.

Clients must treat Zoe and her team with respect. Glam by Zoe reserves the right to refuse services, in cases of rude, abusive or inappropriate behaviour.

Glam by Zoe is not liable for delays outside of Zoe’s control. No refunds/compensation will be given in the event of delays.

The client will reimburse Glam by Zoe for any costs or losses sustained due to property damage or kit loss caused by the client during the service.
